'Black Ink Crew: Chicago': Will VH1 order Season 7 soon? If yes, here's what to expect when the show returns

We can be certain that there are three storylines we'll be looking at: Kitty Sovain-Kitty, Rachel Leigh-Ryan Henry, and Charmaine Walker-Neek Bey with their newborn, Glenda

'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' Season 6 finale aired this week and even though there has been no word on whether VH1 has ordered for more seasons, a franchise like this wouldn't take an exit without a proper show. Therefore, we can guess there's another season coming but the release date is dependent on the pandemic and how soon everyone can get back to their daily lives.

As we all know, everyone around the world has been staying at home to tackle the virus and until there's a concrete solution to all of this, stepping out into the streets is not an option, let alone getting on with our regular lives. TV and film production was shut down a few months ago but a few production houses have resumed work with safety measures in place.

However, if 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' returns for a Season 7, we can be certain that there are three storylines we'll be looking at: Kitty Sovain-Kitty, Rachel Leigh-Ryan Henry, and Charmaine Walker-Neek Bey with their newborn, Glenda.

Kitty and Steven's unfinished date is going to be interesting, given how invested the latter seems. Kitty too couldn't stop smiling when he asked her out over a phone call before he left for London. He asked if she could show her around Chicago and that way they would get to hang out with each other. However, Steven didn't come off too creepy doing it because he was sure to maintain the boss-employee decorum. Although, Kitty didn't confirm if she'd go out with Steven but she didn't deny it either, so there's still hope for the two if and when the cast members return for Season 7.

Rachel and Ryan are in a sticky spot. Their relationship is non-existent. The only thread connecting them is their son, whom they agreed to co-parent but the Covid-19 crisis seems to have changed everything, and now Rachel is denying Ryan that right. Her point was it would be risky but he wanted to move in so that they all can spend time with each other. Will they get back together? We'll have to wait it out.

The Walker-Bey household is now a family of three and hopefully, next season, the viewers will get a glimpse of their journey as new parents. This aside, one can also expect the Kitty-Jessica feud to continue.

Now, let's hope VH1 announces Season 7 premiere date soon.
