'Black Ink Crew: Chicago': Kitty is clueless about Jessica's return, fans blame Charmaine for the 'mess'
This week, the claws were out at 2nd City Ink and for good reason. Jessica and Kitty Sovain went all out and fought with all their might in this week's episode of 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago'. It was easily one of the biggest and nastiest fights the show has seen. That Kitty and Jessica cannot see eye-to-eye is a well-established fact, but the animosity has grown to such levels was something that the viewers are still trying to make peace with.
Jessica returned to 2nd City Ink after a hiatus. She was away in London for quite a few months while Kitty was in Chicago. But now, owner Charmaine Walker realized that the shop is in shambles and that it needed Jessica back.
While most are of the opinion that Jessica and Kitty should find a way to collaborate and work professionally, there's a section that's blaming Walker for all the confusion and bitterness among her employees. In their tweets and reactions, it was evident that they doubt Charmaine's skills as a leader. The popular opinion is that Charmaine should have informed both Jessica and Kitty about their roles and in what capacity they'll be working at the shop.
"Granted as a boss you don't have to explain to your employees when you hire somebody BUT Charmaine knows Jess & Kit don't get along so why wouldn't she just tell Kit she called Jess back instead of ambushing the situation? #BlackInkCHI," a fan commented, while another shared: "Charmaine messy as hell and need business management 100,101,&102..#blackinkchi."
"Charmaine will never have a successful business if this is how she's going to run them. This kind of chaos coming from the top never leads to success. #BlackInkChi #BlackInkCrewCHI," a user pointed out. "If the shop is a damn mess it’s not Kitty fault it’s CHARMAINE!! How tf you make all these decisions & not inform everyone Charmaine needs to better communicate w/ her crew bc this all is one big MESS! #BlackInkCHI," another expressed.
The internet is not far from the truth. Earlier, when Charmaine hired Kitty, she did it without discussing with Jessica, who owns half of the shop. And that is not how one does business. Any change, significant or otherwise, has to be discussed and jointly okayed. But, Charmaine has gotten off the hook every time because she is pregnant and maybe is finding it tough to handle it all.
