Billy Eilish won the award for Record of the Year for 'Bad Guy'. After receiving an astounding five awards for the night, she could only muster the words "Thank you" in her acceptance speech before walking offstage. 'Bad Guy' was produced by Finneas O'Connell. The engineers/mixers were Rob Kinelski and Finneas O'Connell, and the mastering engineer was John Greenham.

Social media reactions included a lot of angry comments, however. One Twitter user commented, "The fact that Ariana didn’t win a single award really really aggravated me. Grammys snubbing her again", and another sid, "So we just give all the awards to pajama kid and call it a night?? Boring. #Grammys2020"
