Joe Biden's campaign has reportedly signaled that "trespassers can be escorted out of the White House" as President Donald Trump "will not consider conceding." The Democratic presidential hopeful's team released a statement noting the same on November 6 morning as he surged ahead of the Republican incumbent in key battlegrounds Pennsylvania and Georgia. "The United States Government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of the White House," the campaign said. According to The Sun, the statement came as a response to a Trump campaign statement released just hours before that claimed: "this election is not over."

"This election is not over," Matt Morgan, Trump 2020 campaign general counsel, said in a statement. "The false projection of Joe Biden as the winner is based on results in four states that are far from final. Georgia is headed for a recount, where we are confident we will find ballots improperly harvested, and where President Trump will ultimately prevail. There were many irregularities in Pennsylvania, including having election officials prevent our volunteer legal observers from having meaningful access to vote counting locations."

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger confirmed the move on November 6. "Georgia still too close to call, but results will be very close, and there will be a recount. Promises transparency," he said. The New York Times reported that a source had revealed Trump was planning to hold a victory rally this weekend. Meanwhile, Biden appears to be in a solid position to capture the electoral votes needed to cement his position in the White House as the 46th president of the United States.

The former Vice President was able to make up a deficit of nearly 1 million votes in Pennsylvania after the counting of mail-in ballots, which the president has branded "fraudulent" and demanded counting of "illegal" votes to be stopped. Nonetheless, a victory in Pennsylvania would guarantee a Biden presidency, thereby ending the four-year tenure of America's most entertaining president. The Democrat challenger currently holds a 5,587 lead in the Keystone State, per CNN. On the other hand, a recount will automatically be triggered if the margin of the final vote in Pennsylvania is less than 1 percent.

Meanwhile, Trump also fell behind in Georgia after enjoying a comfortable lead on Election Day. As of now, however, both candidates remain neck-and-neck holding 49.4 percent of the vote as five million in the Peach State cast their ballots in this roller-coaster election. Americans are anxiously observing as to who clinches the crucial 16 electoral votes from Georgia, as there are still about 14,000 ballots left to be counted.

Speaking of the Red State, Trump said voting machines were shut down due to an "unrelated" water pipe burst. "In Georgia, a pipe burst in a faraway location totally unrelated to the location of what was happening, and they stopped counting for four hours, and a lot of things happened," he said during a press conference last night. He also questioned why his sizeable lead in Georgia dwindled after November 3. “In Georgia, I won by a lot, a lot, with a lead of over — getting close to — 300,000 votes on election night in Georgia, and, by the way, (it) got whittled down," he insisted, before claiming that "the election apparatus in Georgia is run by Democrats."
