'Below Deck': Is Rachel Hargrove the best chef ever? Captain Lee Rosbach praises her after 'caviargate'

Rachel Hargrove's temper reached a level where she began talking in expletives. But in her defense, a whole pack of caviar was missing from the storage. But, she managed to order a couple of tins worth at least $180 each that would reach her by the time she was putting together dinner. Unfortunately, that didn't happen and Captain Lee Rosbach had to stall the guests by showing the charter guests around the vessel and share stories with them. When the caviar finally arrived, Rachel was relieved but one of the cans slipped out of her hand and the contents of it were spilled all over the floor. She had to trash it.
And even though it was crushing for her to do that to such an expensive food ingredient, Captain Lee made good the loss by complimenting on her food. In his confessional, he even hinted that Rachel was the best chef ever as he said that he was most impressed by her. "Your knowledge of food is outstanding, and it shows," the Captain said during the tip meeting at the salon. The charter guests too were left impressed by what Rachel had to serve.
Meanwhile, fans too have shared similar sentiments about Rachel.
"#BelowDeck: This season’s chef (Rachel Hargrove) is by far the absolute best, and I love the pride she takes in her work. @BelowDeckBravo @BelowDeckFans," a fan commented, while another shared: "Rachel might be the best chief in #BelowDeck and #belowdeckmed history. Like her food looks expensive and delicious, I still love ben but I might have a girl crush right now." "Chef Rachel is the first real female chef and has made all the guys look inferior with their skills. Love women being bad ass. #BelowDeck," a viewer tweeted.

Hannah Ferrier from 'Below Deck Mediterranean' even weighed in with her thoughts on Rachel, said it was unfortunate that Francesca Rubi, who is a newbie chief stew got to work with Rachel and Hannah got someone who served microwaved food. "What I would have given to work with Rachel. Seriously - I put in 4 seasons and get a chef that microwaves steaks and Francesca is a newbie and gets the best chef in the history of the Below Deck franchise...?! Doesn’t seem fair... #belowdeck," she posted.
