'Below Deck': Chef Rachel Hargrove branded as 'raging alcoholic' after shocking behavior with Eddie Lucas

Eddie is not impressed with Rachel's behavior and this isn't the first time

Everyone on the crew was temporarily relieved that Chef Rachel Hargrove decided to return to My Seanna, albeit at the last minute. However, Captain Lee Rosbach cannot trust her anymore because she has done enough to "piss" him off. He is keeping a close eye on her and seems like he will be assessing the guests' response to the food closely from here on out.

In this week's episode of 'Below Deck', Rachel impressed the charter guests with her 60-plate dinner. They left the crew $25K in tips. Later, the team steps out to party at the beach where Rachel had a little bit to drink and wouldn't stop annoying Eddie Lucas who asked Francesca Rubi to keep the chef away from him because he generally doesn't appreciate such behavior.

This isn't the first time that she behaved out-of-sorts. Last time the team had a good time, Rachel couldn't stop using expletives as a way to motivate Elizabeth Frankini who has been finding it hard to work under Francesca. Eddie didn't bring it up with Rachel because he thought she was overwhelmed about work and personal life but he did feel Rachel's behavior was inappropriate.

How and why did Rachel quit?

She quit after taking a cursory glance at the exhaustive preference sheet, which began with a mardi-gras menu. The chef was already dealing with a lot of emotions on the personal front (she has been meaning to meet with her boyfriend for some time now) and so, couldn't handle it when she learned the kind of work she would have to put in for the next charter.

Her exit was quite the drama with her abusing Captain Lee Rosbach and leaving everyone high and dry, pretty unsure about what they could possibly do to bring in another chef in time for the next charter. For a moment, Captain Lee even considered canceling the whole gig. However, luckily Rachel was back and extremely apologetic.

Meanwhile, fans have weighed in with their opinion on Rachel's behavior and some think, she's a "raging alcoholic". "Rachel is what’s the word I am looking for? Raging alcoholic," a fan commented, while another shared: "Love chef Rachel’s talent, but that girl is not at her best when she drinks excessively. Ouch!"

"Her food might be amazing but out of the kitchen Rachel seems like an exhausting person," a user posted while another tweeted: "Does Rachel intentionally plan to get stupidly drunk every time just to quit and return so she can blame it on the alcohol?" A viewer shared, "Drunk Rachel is a nightmare. She should rethink drinking, it’s not a good look on her,"
