Captain Sandy Yawn has always favored Malia White and it was evident in this week's episode of 'Below Deck Mediterranean'. Malia didn't respond to her radio call but Sandy said "it's no big deal". It's surprising because Sandy is very particular about such things. And that explains why this incident had fans questioning Sandy's captaincy and whether she was being fair to her crew.
Earlier, when Sandy announced Christine 'Bugsy' Drake will be replacing Lara Flumiani despite knowing that she and Hannah Ferrier never get along, there was an outrage on social media. Most of the fans thought it was a deliberate attempt to harass Hannah and to have her voluntarily quit the team so that Bugsy can take her place as the chief stewardess of The Wellington.
But up until now, everything seems to be working smoothly. Hannah and Bugsy have found a way to work together without getting in each other's way. This wise move will not only help them keep their sanity intact but also benefit the crew and the way it functions during every charter — efficiently and peacefully.
