‘Below Deck’s’ newest chef Kevin Dobson appears to like living life on the edge. For after managing to rub off his boss and captain of the yacht- Captain Lee Rosbach by not serving him his main course in one of the earlier episodes, the chef has been under intense scrutiny. Of all the things he could have possibly done to impress the captain, our quirky chef decides to serve beef tongue to the captain and the charter guests as their main course dish.

The charter guests were initially taken aback when they learned that they were being fed beef tongue as main course, but luckily for the chef, the guests appeared to enjoy it, and the captain had nothing to say about it. So, it is safe to say that the chef got saved literally by the skin of his teeth by making a bold decision to serve tongue to the guests.

Unfortunately for Kevin, the fans weren’t as kind as the guests or the captain with their reaction to the beef tongue for main course. Fans were left feeling disgusted and disappointed when they saw the dish. They felt that it was unfair that the charter guests were served tongue as protein when they paid such extravagant sums to be on the luxury yacht.

A fan tweeted, “If a chef served me beef tongue on a $100K yacht charter, I’d throw him overboard myself ~ #BelowDeck #YouAreFired”. Another fan commented, “Omg. If someone served me a beef tongue I'd probably just throw myself off the boat. Disgusting #BelowDeck”. “Why the hell would anyone cook beef tongue unless it was a specific request, just the thought of having it on a plate in front of me makes me want to barf  #BelowDeck”, wrote a fan.

Most fans felt that the dish shouldn’t have been on the menu. A fan shared, “Who the hell on God’s green earth orders beef tongue unless you are on a deserted island and you ate the rest of the beef and this was all that is left or you DIE! #BelowDeck”. Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, “My husband served beef tongue as a prank to his friend in college.... if I was traveling to Thailand and chartering a yacht and the chef served me beer tongue, I’d be so pissed #belowdeck #bravo”. “Beef tongue? GTFOH!! I want filet mignon, lobster, scallops, king crab legs, beef tartare. Not fucking beef tongue! #ChefShitpants needs to go!! #BelowDeck”, wrote an annoyed fan.

‘Below Deck’ Season 7 airs every Monday at 9 pm ET/PT only on Bravo.
