The cosplay model Belle Delphine has made fun of trigger warning and shared a video of her “kidnapping” on Twitter on January 15. The clip, which she captioned ‘Twigger warnwing :3’ showed her hands tied beside while a man in a balaclava yanks her by the hair before brushing her teeth. As the post went online, the YouTube celebrity and porn star, whose real name is Mary-Belle Kirschner, received a lot of criticism online.

The latest video seems to be in response to the backlash she received for pictures which apparently cosplayed the kidnap-and-rape scenario of a young girl in a Twitter post on January 12.

One user said, “You... Do know that the point of having trigger warnings is so that people can optionally mute the expression with the triggers they have right? Like you can mute "trigger warning // XYZ" and it doesn't show up, so spelling trigger warning in funny ways just defeats the point…” A second user wrote, “Anyone else get the feeling that we’re gonna see a post from her one day with something terrible happening to her and it’s NOT gonna be CNC? Do people just not think of these things? It’s not that we’re kink shaming CNC, we worry about the people who AREN’T into pretending.”

“Now make a joke about when you preyed on a minor and sold their nudes as your own! IT WOULD BE HILARIOUS! It should be you, using the money you made from them funding their mental health treatment so they can deal with the trauma you imposed onto them,” the third user tweeted while the fourth one added, “The issue isn’t having this kink, it’s the fact that a lot of males here will see this and think this is normal. They don’t know about the safe words, long discussions, and therapy that take place before engaging in a scene like this. They just see rape.”

Delphine also shared pictures of her “kidnapping” on the social media platform and wrote, “My perfect first date <3”. In the pictures, she was seen tied up in a vehicle with one photo showing her “abductor” having sex with her. For those graphic images also, the 21-year-old was called out by a lot of people on the internet. But Delphine defended herself by saying people who find her content offensive or depressive should not follow her. "There is nothing wrong with enjoying powerplay and BDSM where both people are consensual. I think saying because I enjoy consensual non-consent is promoting rape, is the same as the argument that violence in video games promotes violence, I made it very clear in the caption of my photo, and anything written about it that I was enjoying it and that is was consensual, I never said the word rape, or anything against my will. This is what other people have put onto it,” she told  LADbible.

Delphine added, “I enjoy the idea of being tied up and used (with my consent, obviously). Another thing that people have said, is that I'm trying to dress like a child, which to me is insane. I felt like dressing vintage that day and even styled my hair in a beehive that was very common for women of that time. All the clothes I wear are made for adults, so the only thing that people can comment on maybe is the fact that I'm wearing a dress? It's very confusing for me. No one likes rape, no one wants rape to exist. Saying that I support rape is the same as saying that 50 percent of the female population does, because if you look at statistics based upon this (from studies done over the last 30 years, including new studies) a lot of women have powerplay/rape fantasies in the exact same way. I consented to being tied up and to having rough sex."
