LONDON, ENGLAND: MGM+'s period drama and the next part to 'Belgravia' is four episodes in and there's been a whole lot to uncover in 'Belgravia: The Next Chapter.'
There have been some splendid performances from the cast of the series, but the plot has undoubtedly stolen the show, especially last week's episode, aka episode 4.
The focus of 'Belgravia: The Next Chapter' has been the next generation of the Trenchard family, which is Lord Frederick Trenchard and now, slowly and steadily, Reverend James Trenchard too.
Frederick's marriage with Clara started off with some swoon-worthy romance but has taken a turn for the worse. Can Frederick change the course of his marriage, or is it too late already?
Frederick Trenchard and Clara Dunn drift apart
In 'Belgravia: The Next Chapter' Episode 4, after Clara Dunn betrays Frederick Trenchard and reaches out to his brother, James Trenchard, everything changes for the worse. The distance between Clara and Frederick which was finally getting better, got a lot worse, and it might just continue that way.
Frederick is clearly in love with his wife but he doesn't seem ready to forgive her or let his guard down, but in the meantime, Clara seems to have given up hope and has spent more time with Dr Stephen Ellerby, who has also been a core part of 'Belgravia: The Next Chapter.'
Can Frederick Trenchard save his marriage?
In the remaining few episodes of 'Belgravia: The Next Chapter,' Clara Dunn will either get closer to Dr Stephen Ellerby, or make her way back to Frederick Trenchard, but it all depends on how Frederick treats Clara. If he continues to push her away and drowns himself in his work, Clara is bound to spend more time with Dr Stephen, just like the previous episodes.
However, if Frederick actually realizes that his marriage is slowly slipping away and he needs to act on it, then he might just be able to save it, but only time, and the remaining few episodes of 'Belgravia: The Next Chapter' will tell what's really going to happen between Clara, Frederick and their marriage.
