'Beach Around The World': Nicole and Tom want a modern and traditional house, but can they get the right one?
Nicole and Tom have been looking to find their perfect house but their different tastes have sometimes hindered their dreams. Nicole has always wanted to live in a house that has some traditional aspects attached to it while Tom, on the other hand, has been a lover of something modern. Finding a house that matched their taste was a difficult task but luckily for them, they had options at their disposal.
Nicole and Tom wanted certain criteria to be met. This included having four rooms, three and a half bath, a work area, an area for Tom to paint and an ocean view. With so many items to tick off the list, Nicole and Tom were hoping to find a perfect house that would come in the range of $450-500k. The pair were given the option of making their pick from three houses - tile house, ocean house and a glasshouse. The glasshouse was the first house that the pair looked at. Slightly over their budget, the house ranged around $600,000. It was big and spacious and had the most perfect view that the pair could dream of.
To add to this, Nicole and Tom had wanted a space where they could hold events and parties for their guests. The house provided them with just that and with a stunning view, Nicole and Tom knew it would be the perfect place to sit and enjoy their work. However, one of their concerns was the cost of the house. They soon decided to look at their other options and were introduced to the tile house. As the name suggests, the tile house had many rooms but most of them also had tiles that were not pleasing to their eyes. While it fits their budget, the house really didn't appeal to them..
This left them with the final house on the list, the ocean house. As the name suggests, the house had an amazing view that would take anyone's breath away. However, the only drawback were the color schemes of the tiles that were used in the house. With a bathroom decorated with red and black tile, Tom and Nicole started second-guessing if this was a good choice.
After a lot of thinking over, the pair decided to make a list of which house they would choose and rate it on a scale of 10. After going through everything, Nicole and Tom chose the glasshouse and decided to start the new chapter of their life there.
