As the curtains are set to fall on 'Basketball Wives' Season 9, fans cannot help but criticize how much of a letdown it was. They pointed out a string of reasons why the VH1-show should not return, one of which was how nothing was "resolved" and that Ogom 'OG' Chijindu's storyline was stretched. However, there were a handful who thought the colorism issue needed to be addressed.

However, what seemed to have bothered the viewers most is that the season is wrapping up quicker than expected. 'BBW' 9 was filmed during the pandemic and it was a given that this year the show would be different and shorter than its predecessors but there's a good chance no one thought it would be over in a matter of weeks.

Who are Nia and Noria Dorsey? One of the 'Basketball Wives' sisters dated Feby Torres's baby daddy

Meanwhile, fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment over what went down in Season 9. OG's colorism issue and beef with Evelyn Lozada took centerstage while Feby Torres and new cast member Nia Dorsey's pasts caught up with them. They both dated basketball player Lance Stephenson at some point.

Malaysia Pargo and Jackie Christie, however, were the only ones who brought relief with their much-needed patch up. Liza Morales was a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately for her and the viewers, we didn't get to know much about Liza except that she is Lamar Odom's ex and that he didn't leave college money for their kids.

"Watching these women bash each other and tear down each other is draining asf! Vh1 please just cancel this show already #BASKETBALLWIVES," one user commented, while another echoed: "I hate everyone of these women with a passion. Cancel this show. And the fans are so wishy washy it’s sad #BasketballWives."

"I’m all seriousness tho I think it’s time to cancel #BasketballWives this season is horrible and nothing was resolved! It’s been one big run around and everyone bowing down to OG and like she said she has yet to share her experience," a fan tweeted. "Yeah, it's coming to the end, what a bunch of hogwash this season! Colorism exists,BUT not on this show!! It's called FAVORITISM!!!!," another shared.

"Is this really the finale ?? I understand them not wanting to be subjected to OG's accusations because it would piss me off too, but what was the point of even filming ?! Obligations? This is sad," a viewer questioned, while another posted: "Ended too soon and boring with OG’s fake storyline with her fake colorist bullshit with these ladies crazy bitches yes but colorist no fuckn way come back next season without ToeG."

The 'Basketball Wives' Season 9 finale will air on VH1 on March 23, Tuesday at 8/7c. For more information, check your local listings.
