Season 4 of HGTV’s hit renovation show ‘Bargain Mansions' premiered on Monday, November 9, with an all new 60-minute episode. Mother, designer and television host Tamara Day and her dad Ward Schraeder go to see a mid-century modern house or as Tamara says “confused mid-century modern house” that Tamara bought to renovate.

However, the final renovation didn’t sit well with viewers as some people found the black painted walls too intense. “Not a fan of dark colors in a bathroom,” wrote a viewer. “I actually like the tile wall, but I really don’t like the gray shiplap/wallpaper combo. None of it goes with the fire place. I’m so confused,” wrote another viewer. A disappointed fan tweeted, “I normally love Tamara’s designs but the design and staging make this house look very cluttered and confused.”

A show that was originally focussed on flipping mansions has turned into another renovation show, flipping huge houses that are too small to be mansions, as a viewer wrote, “About your show #BargainMansions why have ‘mansions’ transform them into the plain boring average house? And on top of everything, get rid of some of the great features they still have.”

Another viewer observed the fact that the washroom leading to a backyard in a little weird as they wrote, “Oh wait I didn't realize that courtyard was off the bathroom! Face with tears of joy What a weird location.” Sharing an image of the house that they flip another viewer wrote, “THIS?!? A MANSION?!?? I have to laugh. #HGTV #BargainMansions.”

Viewers also rejoiced the fun in the simple things like watching the renovation show now that the elections are over and there is no more anxiety over who is going to win. “Now that the election is over & decided, it's lovely watching regular TV shows, like #bargainmansions.”

“I’ve been watching HGTV and now all i want to do is get married and flip houses with my husband,” wrote a fan.“ The Kardashians approve of watching some HGTV to relax too as Kloe Kardashian tweeted, “Sounds like the perfect night! Watch cartoons, hgtv or friends afterwards LOL #twistedsisters”
