Rebel Wilson arrived at the BAFTAs wearing a red and black gown and had the most hilarious reply to how she selected the gown she was wearing for the night. Speaking to journalist Donald Clarke she said, “The red is from that one time I didn’t win Miss Australia. And the black is from a funeral I just went to for the feature film Cats.”

The 'Cats' was a musical that was directed by Tom Hooper and consisted of many A-list celebrities like James Corden, Taylor Swift and others. However, despite having a star-studded cast, the film failed to impress the audience. Many people complained about the CGI used in the film. Meanwhile, others stated that the looks taken by the cast were quite scary. Previously, James Corden had also joked about being a part of the film. While Wilson did not fail to make the light of the situation, she did make sure that she also raised her voice for a better cause.

While announcing the nominations for Best Director, the actress brought attention to how it was an all-male category. “I don’t think I could do what they do – honestly, I don’t have the balls," she said. Fans were thrilled to see how Wilson spoke against it. However, one thing that bothered fans was the look that Wilson had throughout the award show.

Many wished to see Wilson smile but every time the camera panned towards her, fans were not happy to see the expression she had. Many took to social media to express their opinions regarding this. "Rebel Wilson looks like shes sucking some seriously bitter lemons #BAFTA," one user wrote.

Meanwhile, others wondered why the camera panned towards Wilson all the time. "Has someone paid @BAFTA to keep the camera on Rebel Wilson? Come on move the shots around a bit!" one asked while another echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "I swear if they zoom in on Rebel Wilson one more time I am going to scream this has been, what, the 10th time and the awards have been on 30 minutes."
