'Backyard Envy': James says as CEO he shouldn't be on job sites, fans say 'all he does is complain'
It was only a matter of time before The Manscapers felt the heat from their growing business. Melissa 'Mel' Brasier, Garrett Magee, and James DeSantis are a team but work pressures seem to be getting the better of them. In this week's episode of 'Backyard Envy,' we see them neck-deep in workplace troubles. While James believes being the CEO of a company he shouldn't be on job sites, getting his hands dirty, co-founders of The Manscapers, Mel and Garrett have a different story to tell. They are more than open to be present at sites, see through the work that is being done.
To iron out the differences, they sought help from a business therapist who told them they are dealing with something that's called "triangulation," where James is at loggerheads with the co-founders. The therapist implied that Mel and Garrett must be considerate of James because he is the one who is, more often than not, outside of the equation and therefore feeling the tension. Mel and Garrett seemed to agree on most things, while James had something completely opposite to say. For instance, these two had a wonderful experience with the therapist but James didn't find value in it.
Here's hoping The Manscapers are able to rise above their differences and put together a stellar show.
Meanwhile, fans think James is making the show tad negative with his tantrums.
"Please @ManscaperJames tell me you’re not going to turn #BackyardEnvy into another negative @BravoTV show. We love you guys love each other. @garrettbmagee," a viewer commented, while another shared: "I think James should just focus more on company development & landing big clients while Garrett & Mel focus on the bread & butter client projects because James doesn't get the same joy from being on site. If everyone loves their job they'll be more successful. #BackyardEnvy."
