'Bachelor in Paradise' season 6 episode 11: John Paul Jones' prom date surprise for Tayshia Adams wins fans' hearts

JPJ won back hearts of fans on Monday night by surprising Tayshia with a paradise prom, and we can't help but gush over the couple.

'Bachelor in Paradise' season 6 returned on Monday night and we witnessed one of the purest and sweetest moments the entire season had to offer.

The season has almost come to an end, and we have just two episodes left. Now, almost everyone in paradise is a couple. Some are clearly in love, and a few are trying to get there. On Monday night's episode, we also got to see three contestants exit paradise, one on a happy note, and two on a sad one.

But one moment that stood out exceptionally and had our hearts melting was John Paul Jones' surprise for Tayshia Adams. Last week we got to see a monstrous side of JPJ after he lashed out at Derek Peth during Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone's wedding. It is no new news that Derek and JPJ had a tiff over Tayshia. During this brief amount of time, fans were not high in favor of JPJ's behavior. It was a side of him none of us had seen.

But JPJ won back hearts of fans on Monday night by surprising Tayshia with a paradise prom. So far, the duo were like the odd couple compared to others. From day 1 JPJ had his heart set out on Tayshia. But she, on the other hand, had been keeping her options open until she realized she cannot hide what she feels for him anymore. And after what JPJ did for her during Monday night's episode, it clearly looks like she's falling for him, and she's falling hard and fans can't help but be happy for the couple.

Last week after Tayshia told JPJ that she had never been to prom, he decided to surprise her by organizing a prom for her in paradise, right from the corsage to the punch bowl. After crowning each other the prom king and queen, the couple danced under the stars while a saxophone player provided the perfect accompaniment to their mood. It was the purest and happiest moment this season had to offer till date.

After watching JPJ and Tayshia create such a lovely memory, it didn't take fans long before they took to Twitter to gush about their date. Because there is no doubt that there's nothing sweeter than a prom on the beach.

"Am I the only one crying over this prom? It seriously is the cutest thing I've ever seen in my whole entire life. #BachelorInParadise," wrote a fan on Twitter. Adding to that another fan said, "JPJ showing he pays attention to what Tayshia says, even the small details, is amazing and shows a lot about JPJ. A lot of good."

"JPJ’s date with Tayshia is the sweetest thing ever. Romance is not dead!" wrote a fan. While another said, "Tayshia looks beautiful! This is sooo cute. And wow, JPJ is a total catch. #ParadisePromQueen #ParadiseProm #BachelorInParadise."

Despite the ups and downs the couple went through over the course of this season, it's nice to see them at a great place together and happy. Now, all we have to do is wait and see if JPJ and Tayshia head on to the fantasy suite.

'Bachelor in Paradise' season 6 airs every Monday and Tuesday night only on ABC. Check your local listings for more information.
