Autistic teenager left with a 'chunk missing above his eye' after being attacked for the second time in a month

An autistic teenager was brutally attacked for the second time in just over a month and his mother says he has since become suicidal.
On December 17 last year, Jacob Comertoglu was walking into Bodmin to look at the town's Christmas lights when he was set upon, Cornwall Live reported.
At the time, the 19-year-old unfortunately stumbled upon a man arguing with his girlfriend. Jacob's presence offended the man, who went on to launch a violent and sustained assault on him. At the hospital, a nurse was horrified to find no defensive injuries on the teenager, who also suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome.
