Not only did they win the hearts of viewers, the duo also ended up winning the show in 2020, with Marvin telling Melinda that he wanted to make things work between them.
However, during the reunion show in 2021, Melinda and Marvin announced their breakup, while another major couple of the season, Emily Miller and Cam Holmes, confirmed that they were still together.

At the July 5, 2021 reunion show, hosted by Chloe Veitch, Marvin broke the news that they "are not together anymore." He added that he does "miss her a lot." Distance had been a key issue, with Marvin being based in Paris and Melinda in New York and the pandemic only added to it. The couple was supposed to travel to Mexico but that plan was canceled after an argument. Melinda, however, corrected Marvin by saying that Marvin decided to "cancel his whole flight the day that he was supposed to come." She further claimed that she "was left in the dark" and that Marvin's actions made her feel "so sad."

Melinda is rumored to be dating Peter Vigilante after the latter posted a pic with the star on Instagram back in July 2021. The post led many to assume that the two are seeing each other.
