PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 5 is just an episode away from the finale and two couples have got dumped in the latest episode.

Scott van-der-Sluis and Johnnie Olivia along with Destiny Zammarra and Kyle Darden recently got eliminated.

Although Scott van-der-Sluis and Johnnie Olivia's family approved of their relationship, the couple wasn't able to make it to the finale. The former 'Love Island UK' star Scott entered the villa after the casa amor twist and explored connection with multiple islanders.

However, Johnnie was coupled up with Matia Marcantuoni during the Casa Amor twist.

During the previous elimination round, Johnnie opted to recouple with Scott despite the fact that she didn't have any attachment or connection with him.

Johnnie and Scott coupled up just for a few days and didn't have time to know each other. Lack of genuine connection leads to Johnnie and Scott's eliminations.

However, Johnnie and Scott didn't spark a connection, it seems like the pair remained on amicable terms rather than build a lasting relationship outside the villa. Johnnie and Scott still follow each other on social media.

'Love Island USA' star Johnnie Olivia was confused between three islanders

Johnnie Olivia admitted in the latest episode of 'Love Island USA' Season 5 that she was confused among three islanders. Johnnie developed a connection with Matia Marcantuoni, Scott van-der-Sluis, and Kassy Castillo.

Although she chose Scott over Matia, Johnnie still had feelings for Kassy. Additionally, Johnnie's mother supported her relationship with Kassy and wanted them to recouple.

Johnnie tried to play tragically and remained coupled up with Scott which eventually ended up in dramatic elimination.

Scott van-der-Sluis gets dumped twice in 'Love Island'

Scott van-der-Sluis appeared on 'Love Island UK' Season 10 before his surprising entry in the 'Love Island USA' Season 5 villa. The reality star tried his luck in the UK version of the show but he got dumped after the islanders voted him off.

Scott arrived as a bombshell just a couple of weeks into 'Love Island' Season 10 and soon coupled up with Catherine. However, he was left heartbroken when Catherine re-coupled in Casa Amor.

Scott then recoupled with Casa Amor bombshell Abi Moores. But the couple soon got dumped because of a lack of compatibility.
