SAYULITA, MEXICO: A spark of love was seen between Jess Girod and Blake Moynes in 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 9. However, their budding relationship hit a snag when newcomer Genevie Mayo entered paradise wielding a date card

According to Reality Steve's reports, Jess and Blake are no longer a couple. It is reported that they did not get engaged by the season's end.

In the last episode, Genevie arrived on the show with a date card, and Jess anticipated that she would bring a "ball of energy and excitement" to the beach.

However, Genevie's arrival brought not excitement, but shock to the island when she chose to ask Jess's interest, Blake, out on a date.

Before accepting, Blake sought Jess's approval, suggesting she take the opportunity to explore other connections in his absence.
