Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke's daughter, Maya, cast in Stranger Things season 3

Popular horror drama Stranger Things is growing bigger and better with each season. After the end of season 2, Netflix has recently announced that the population of Hawkins will grow by at least one person, with the addition of a new character - Robin.

Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke's daughter, Maya, are going to be cast in the Netflix hit series, 'Stranger Things' for season 3. As reported by Variety, the 19-year-old's character is said to be bored and tired of her routine and job.

"She seeks excitement in her life and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins, Indiana," the site revealed.

'Stranger Things' is reportedly going to be Maya's second big gig with the first one being her role as Jo March in BBC's miniseries adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's 'Little Women'. The show has already in the UK and is all set to air on PBS in the US this summer.

Maya is really working her way up in the industry and is also going to be the star in an upcoming thriller, 'Lady World'.

Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke have two children together, Maya and her 16-year-old brother Levon. The now-divorced couple met and fell in love on the sets of 'Gattaca' in the year 1996 and got married two years later in the year 1998.

However, things did not seem to be working out for them and they ended up separating in the year 2003 and finally getting a divorce in the year 2005.

Maya also has a half-sister, Luna, who is currently five years old from her mother's relationship with now ex-Arpad Busson as well as two more half-sisters, Clementine and Indiana from her father's marriage to Ryan Shawhughes.
