The new trailer for Netflix's The Innocents has us hooked

We have to admit, Netflix has us hooked. We wouldn't have the millennial-favorite hashtag #NetflixAndChill thanks to their binge-worthy original content. The streaming service knows what kind of stories to go after and boy do they have something epic in store for us.

Recently, the streaming service announced its upcoming original series, The Innocents. Teenagers Harry and June are tired of their repressive family lives and decide to run away together. The extraordinary journey they share leads to self-discovery that derails their innocence. Secrets that were kept from them by their respective parents test their love to a breaking point, and the extraordinary gifts they possess unleashes powerful forces intent on dividing them forever.

The trailer starts off with a cryptic message: “What you see is not what you see.” Knowing Netflix's tendency to pick up storylines with excellent plots, and epic twists and turns, we're actually pretty stoked for this show.

The series stars Guy Pearce, Sorcha Groundsell, and Percelle Ascott. The supernatural teenage drama will have eight episodes and will be streaming sometime this year. Our conclusion: Looks to be 100% binge-worthy.
