After being the Beautiful Boy, Elio, Chalamet will probably return to charm the sci-fi fans in his role as Paul in the 2019 version of 'Dune'.

Timothee Chalamet is in the final talks to star in Legendary's adaptation of David Lynch's 1984 movie 'Dune'. The movie, which is now being directed by the French Canadian film director Denis Villeneuve (whose noted works include 'Blade Runner 2049' and 'Arrival'), is based on Frank Herbert's 1965 sci-fi novel of the same title.

Denis will be producing the feature adaptation along with the BAFTA Award winning film producer Mary Parent and Cale Boyter who has movies like 'Pacific Rim Uprising' to his name. Denis had earlier confirmed in an interview with the Quebec publication La Presse that he plans on splitting the film into two parts, as he would prefer to turn Herbert's 896-page long novel into a well-integrated movie. He said, "Eric Roth wrote the first draft and I worked on my side afterwards… I have not had such fun on the creative side since Incendies! My wish would have been to make both films at the same time, but it will be too expensive. We will do them one at a time.”
