‘No Activity’ Season 3: Release date, plot, cast, and everything else you need to know about Patrick Brammall's hit comedy on CBS All Access
CBS All Access is returning with a third season of its hit comedy show ‘No Activity’, to amuse us with a lot more of adventures and thrills from the lives of the characters, who are best known for their witty dialogues and exceptionally funny actions. Earlier this year, the channel announced that Trent O’Donnell’s show has been renewed for a new installment, following the positive response the show's previous seasons garnered. Release
‘No Activity’ season 3 will premiere on CBS All Access on November 21, 2019.
Plot
Season 3 of ‘No Activity’ will follow the drug cartel bust staged by the lead pair, Detective Judd and Detective Nick’which was highly catastrophic. While they engage in their usual banter, two other cops Janice (Amy Sedaris) and Fatima (Sunita Mani), who work at the police back station, will continue playing their roles by communicating information to and from their colleagues while tackling a few new obstacles. The criminals from the drug cartel will comprise of the previous appearances in addition to a few new characters. However, the format of the pairing of characters from different aspects of the story will be retained.

Patrick Brammall
The Australian actor rose to popularity through his role as Sean Moody on ABC’s ‘A Moody Christmas’. Patrick essays Detective Nick Cullen’s role in ‘No Activity’, who is short-tempered and sullen compared to his partner Tolbeck's much calm and composed demeanor. He has also featured in ‘Upper Middle Bogan’, ‘Offspring’ and ‘The Little Death’.
Tim Meadows
Tim Meadow who plays Detective Judd Tolbeck in ‘No Activity’ has worked in several shows and films in his career which spans over three decades. He has also appeared in ten seasons of Saturday Night Live, becoming one of the longest-running cast members.
‘Man with a Plan’, ‘Detroiters’, ‘Bojack Horseman’ are some of his latest works on television.
Keegan-Michael Peel
Keegan-Michael Peel will be seen in season 3 of ‘No Activity’, although his role in the series is unknown. The comedian, actor and writer is best known for co-creating and starring in Comedy Central’s ‘Key & Peele’. Besides television series such as ‘Fargo’, ‘Parks and Recreation’ and ‘The Hotwives’, Peel has also featured in films including, ‘Toy Story 4’, ‘Pitch Perfect 2’, ‘Keanu’ and others.
Joe Keery
The upcoming season is also said to guest star Joe Keery. Keery is known for his role as Steve on 'Strange Things'.
Apart from Keery Beth Behrs, Paula Pell and Dyla McDermott will also be starring in the show.
Creators/Showrunners
Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Joe Farrell, Mike Farah, Joe Hardesty and Jason Burrows serve as the executive producers for ‘No Activity’ season 3, while Trent O’Donnell continues to helm the show. Lead actor Patrick Brammall is also the co-executive producer of the show.
