Rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again arrested for body-slamming girlfriend and on kidnapping warrant

The plot revolving around the arrest of rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again (NBA) seems to thicken as various other evidence surfaces. Recently, a video of the rapper getting into a heated argument with his girlfriend Jania at a hotel in Waycross, George, came to light just hours before he was arrested on Saturday (February 24).

In the clip which was obtained by TMZ, it is seen that the couple is involved in an argument in the hallway of the hotel. When the dispute gets out of hand, one can see the male person throwing the woman to the ground. Afterwards, it can be seen that the woman tries to fight off the man but it turns out to be a failed attempt and results in the man dragging her across the hall.

Previously it was reported that the rapper, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was arrested in Tallahassee, Florida for an outstanding warrant which was in his name. According to a report by TMZ, law enforcement official came across NBA YoungBoy and then decided to run his information.

It is then that the police authority discovered that the rapper had an arrest warrant against his name for allegedly committing assault, kidnapping, and also some weapons violations. It is not clear if the alleged hotel clip was what alerted the police. Prior to this arrest, the rapper was scheduled to perform a show at Moon nightclub in Tallahassee, which was canceled.

"Our understanding is he was arrested by the US Marshall’s on an outstanding warrant from Georgia, at approximately 1 am,"  a representative for the Moon said in a statement at that time. "He was heading over to The Moon for his scheduled 1:30 am performance."

TMZ further reported that other guests at the hotel heard the fight and it is them who alerted the management. The report alleges that NBA YoungBoy and his GF reportedly fled before authorities arrived. However, YoungBoy’s girlfriend Jania has come forward stating that the video did not show any signs of dispute.

“I was pulling him. That’s just us. That’s how we like to play… Has he ever put his hands on me? F**k no. Do we play a lot? F**k yeah. We 18. We’re 18, what do ya’ll expect… Mind ya’ll business," she can be seen saying in the video.
