Waka Flocka Flame says Lil Xan Is 'Banned From Hip-Hop' because he disrespected Tupac

Last month Lil Xan sat down for a lighthearted interview with Revolt where he ranked a list of people, items, and songs from 1-9 based on "clout" for their appropriately-titled "On Clout 9" segment.

In the middle of ranking everything from net neutrality (which got a 1 because "I don't even know what that is") to Beethoven (who got a 9 because "he made beautiful music"), the rapper was asked to rate 2Pac. The 'Betrayed' singer gave the late icon a '2', and went on to call Pac's music "boring."

The comment was so startling that Revolt added a disclaimer screen right after the comment saying: "Disclaimer: The views and opinions expressed in this video are of Lil Xan only." Watch the interview below:

The lashback was massive as expected. Soon after Xan featured in a contentious — but ultimately fine — interview at Hot 97, after which he announced he was done with interviews for good because, as he said on Twitter, he didn't want "these companies" to use him to "further there shit [sic]." (Soon after which he tweeted that he still knows "the difference between there and their.")

But done with interviews or not, Lil Xan nevertheless managed to get himself embroiled in another controversy, this time with veteran rapper, Waka Flocka Flame.

On Tuesday (Mar 6) Waka Flocka caught wind of Xan's comments and chastised him for disrespecting the rap legend, banning him from the hip-hop community. "LiL Xan banned from hip hop," Waka tweeted. "GoD of Rap, Hip Hop, etc Tupac Shakur!!!" he added.

The 'No Hands' hit-maker followed that up with another tweet that explained Pac's importance in his life and how he helped him during his days as a kid.

"Pac help me get thru childhood!!! Shit hurt to see the youth disrespect man that paved the way for all of us literally... I hope nobody overlook me accomplishments when I leave," he said. Waka Flocka finished his condemnation of Xan by finally adding, "Respect is everything, never forget that."

Later, Xan responded back to Waka's comments via Instagram: "Lil Xan's not going anywhere. Sorry. You gotta look at this ugly face for a lot longer, guys," he posted in what seemed like a tame PSA announcement.
