Beth Chapman's stepdaughter Lyssa tells her to 'keep fighting' after her hospitalization despite public feud last month

Lyssa Chapman seems to have put her differences with her stepmother Beth Chapman aside and expressing her support to the TV star who is currently battling stage four throat cancer

Lyssa Rae Chapman has decided to put aside all the differences with her 51-year-old stepmother Beth Chapman and extended her support to the bounty hunter star. Beth is currently hospitalized in ICU in a medically induced coma after she battled with stage four throat cancer.

During the early hours of June 24, Lyssa tweeted, "#KeepFightingBeth." The businesswoman and bounty hunter also responded to a fan who criticized her for her problems with her stepmother and wrote, "I've been with her since she was back in Hawaii. Our family isn't perfect, but we're family."

These messages of kind words and support were seen as a contradiction as Lyssa and Beth were in a very nasty public social media war only last month.

The feud started with Beth publicly calling out her stepdaughter Lyssa for not acknowledging her on Mother's Day as well as not inviting her and her husband Duane 'Dog The Bounty Hunter' Chapman to Lyssa's daughter's graduation ceremony. Lyssa defended herself and claimed that she had a whole bunch of messages as proof that she had reached out to Beth which Lyssa claims went unanswered and were ignored. The two have had a very volatile relationship but it looks like Lyssa is ready to let it all slide.

In addition to sharing her supportive tweets, Lyssa also posted a throwback picture of herself with the reality TV star. On June 23, Beth's family confirmed that she was hospitalized and placed in a medically induced coma in the ICU. After releasing the statement, Dog shared, "Please say your prayers for Beth right now. Thank you love you." Beth has chosen not to undergo any chemotherapy in her latest cancer battle.

She has instead turned to alternative treatment methods such as CBD oil and has been very candid about her decision to avoid taking traditional medicine. She had a difficult experience with chemo when she was initially diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and when she first relapsed at the end of 2018. According to a report by Hollywood Life, Dr. Adil Akhtar said, "The role of CBD in cancer treatment is not established, although there are studies that are ongoing."

"According to the American Cancer Society, so far, studies have not shown CBD to help control or cure cancer. CBD is used to control symptoms from cancer, like nausea, pain, and loss of appetite," Dr. Akhtar added.
