Fenty Beauty shocked everyone when they posted on their official Twitter handle that they were behind Daniel Kaluuya's flawless Oscars red carpet appearance on March 4, with users gushing over how amazing the actor's skin and complexion looked with Rihanna's Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation on, reported by the brand to be in #480 and #490.
The 'Black Panther' actor who was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in Jordan Peele's directorial debut 'Get Out' was positively glowing as he smiled for cameras and posed on the red carpet. Kaluuya continued to look flawless as he sat through the awards ceremony, and Fenty Beauty pointed out that Kaluuya's make up did not rub off on Peele's white suit when he congratulated him for winning the Oscar for Best Screenplay.
Rihanna's beauty company credited makeup artist Amber Amos for his winsome appearance at the Oscars. A glimpse into her Instagram account reveals that she has been working with Kaluuya for a long time now, and was likely responsible for his makeup at all his recent red carpet events and movie premieres.A lot of her posts have the hashtag "#malegrooming," which Twitter users seem to be finding a novelty.
Some users on Twitter were surprised to know that Kaluuya had or even needed make up, with comments on the thread going, "What he need make up for?," "Wha!? Mind blown 🤯 thought he was just drinking water and eating vegetable. Daaaam. 👍🏾," and "Simply flawless and no one knew! ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 🙅🏿♀️🙅🏿♀️🙅🏿♀️#NaturalBeauty."
However, despite the surprise, most of the comments were quite encouraging, with users commenting that he looked fabulous, posting positive reaction gifs, and stating that they were heading to get themselves some of that foundation right away.
