Ivanka celebrates sister Tiffany's birthday with a 'babysitting' throwback photo while dad Trump 'forgets' to wish her
Ivanka Trump wished her younger sister Tiffany a happy birthday on Sunday by sharing a throwback picture of herself dressed up in a designer gown while babysitting Tiffany as a toddler in a diaper. The 37-year-old shared the picture on Twitter posing with Tiffany, 26, as they sat together on an ornate sofa.
Donald Trump's eldest daughter can be seen wearing a black dress with a voluminous skirt dress in the picture with a sheer overlay covered with a pattern of squiggly lines. She can be seen leaning back on a pile of pillows with her eyes closed and one hand behind her head. While baby Tiffany can be seen with a diaper on, sitting on her half-sister’s lap and drinking from a baby bottle. Ivanka also posted a caption along with the picture cracking a joke about her "many babysitting fails."
"Happy, happy birthday Tiffany! You have grown into an amazing woman, despite my many babysitting fails!" the 37-year-old wrote.
Shortly after Ivanka shared the picture, Tiffany responded with: "Haha I love this and I love you so much!"
Meanwhile, Trump tweeted about a range of things on Sunday, including his impeachment investigation, cable TV boosters defending him, his decision to withdraw US troops from Syria. However, there was not one wishing Tiffany on her birthday. Trump wished the U.S. Navy a happy 244th birthday instead. The absence of his wishes for his younger daughter appeared more conspicuous as others in the family sent their love for Tiffany in public posts.
The 26-year-old is Trump and his second wife, Marla Maples' daughter. Although she occasionally attends political events with her family, she has continued to not be much involved in her father's administration and business as much as Ivanka has. There have been often unfounded reports of Trump favoring Ivanka over Tiffany.
The president, in August this year, had to deny reports that he thought his daughter Tiffany was overweight and that he did not like to be photographed with her. The denial came shortly after Trump's personal assistant, Madeleine Westerhout, 28, was asked to resign after the president found out that she told reporters that he thought his daughter Tiffany was overweight.
