President Donald Trump’s youngest daughter, Tiffany Trump, has split with her boyfriend Ross Mechanic, according to Page Six. A source close to Tiffany confirmed that the couple split once Tiffany moved to Washington, DC, to attend Georgetown Law.
Tiffany and Ross, who were together for over two years, were reportedly pretty serious, but things went crumbling down when distance came in between them.
The couple quietly decided to go their separate ways and focus on their respective lives.
"Tiffany and Ross’ relationship had become pretty serious, but they quietly broke up late last year," the source told the magazine.
"It was all about her moving to DC. Ross didn’t want her to go there without him, as he lives in New York. He wanted to be with her 24/7, and with Tiffany away in another city, it became a huge disagreement, and they decided to go their separate ways," the source added.
Even though it has been a while since they broke up, Tiffany has already got her head into the game and is focusing on her future.
“I think it was hard for Ross to understand [that] Tiffany needs to put her future first. She isn’t dating anyone else, she is just really focused on law school, her studies and becoming her own person," the source added.
Before the news about their breakup came to light, there had been various hints that suggested that the two were not together. One of the biggest giveaways was how Tiffany chose to attend all the events alone. At the same time, the last picture that she posted with Ross was in July.
The pair had met each other while they were both at the University of Pennsylvania. They were first pictured together in 2015 and it was after this that the rumors about them dating surfaced. Ever since then, they were almost inseparable and their countless pictures were proof of that. Even their families grew close as Tiffany and her mother spent summer at Ross' home in the Hamptons. The pair has not yet commented on their breakup.
