Meghan Markle just had her bridal shower and here's everything we know about it

Meghan Markle may not have had a wild bridal shower but she sure did have a lot of fun in her relaxing spa experience. According to E! the soon-to-be royal bride was treated to a bridal shower at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire this weekend. Markus Anderson, who was also reportedly one of the matchmakers in the love story of Meghan and Prince Harry, had reportedly organized the bash.

"Markus Anderson has helped throw the shower for Meghan and a small group of mostly her London friends," an insider told the magazine. "It's just a relaxing day of good food and pampering." One could say that it was the perfect gift for Meghan keeping in mind that she has been making various public appearances with Prince Harry. One can say that at times when these appearances become hectic, a spa treatment could prove to be a perfect getaway.

According to the venue's website, the member's club sits on 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside. The guests have a variety of options to choose from in order to decide how to spend their time at the resort. They can enjoy spas, a cinema, tennis courts, horse stables and more amenities.

Other people who were part of this very private bridal shower included Lindsay Jill Roth and Heather Dorak. However, Meghan's mother, Doria Raglan was not present at the venue, but she will be accompanying the actress for her upcoming bachelorette bash.

Just like Meghan's bridal shower, even her bachelorette is going to be "low-key" event which will include her close friends. Doria is expected to meet Meghan later this week, after Meghan is baptized and confirmed in the Church of England.

A palace source had confirmed the news stating that the special ceremony will take place at the Kensington Palace chapel and will be performed by Archbishop Justin Welby. It is also reported that Meghan's dad Thomas Markle will also be flying in for the baptism, where he will likely meet Prince Harry for the first time.

The couple will be welcoming commoners into the grounds of Windsor Castle and they will be allowed to watch the arrivals of the bride and groom at St. George's Chapel. Last month, Kensington Palace said in a statement that Prince Harry and Meghan are "hugely grateful for the many good wishes they have received since announcing their engagement." The statement also said that "they are very much looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public."

Prince Harry and Meghan will tie the knot May 19 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
