Vanesa Marcil's little miracle is on its way. The General Hospital alum declared that she's expecting her second child, a girl, to her 356K social media followers on Monday, sharing a photo of her puppy Rocky snuggling close to her owner’s baby bump.
“The GIRLS 😜,” the actress captioned the sweet moment on Instagram.
At the age of 49, it's clearly a miracle baby for the Daytime Emmy winner after the immense hardship she had gone through due to her failed pregnancies.
The Wrong Mother actress' announcement on social media came two months after revealing the fact that she decided to try again with her law enforcement officer fiancé following six heartbreaking miscarriages.
Vanessa confirmed her pregnancy back in November when she shared a happy photo of her and her fiance, "MC," writing, "It's baby time. After 6 miscarriages we are saying prayers."
Earlier this week, Vanessa also shared a photo of MC "practicing" with a baby doll on his chest.
Marcil only ever refers to her tattooed and mustachioed policeman as 'MC' and he got down on one knee in uniform when he proposed in 2015 with a gold band 'formerly owned by Audrey Hepburn.'
Vanessa (born Sally Ortiz) is a mother to 15-year-old son Kassius Lijah, who she had with her former Beverly Hills, 90210 castmate Brian Austin Green.
The Talk guest co-host romanced the 44-year-old actor from 1999-2003. Brian has, since then, also had three sons with his wife Megan Fox.
When she's not acting in Lifetime movies, Marcil keeps busy co-hosting a weekly LoveStop podcast with her best friend Suzanne Whang.
But Vanessa is perhaps best known for her longtime on/off role as Brenda Barrett on the ABC soap opera between 1992-2015.
The heartbreak of having a miscarriage — or in this case, six — takes a huge toll on a person, so we wish all the best to Vanessa and her family in this new, delightful chapter in their life.
