Duane 'Dog The Bounty Hunter' Chapman's wife, Beth Chapman, was reportedly placed into a medically-induced coma on Saturday for her own safety after she refused medical treatment and was not cooperating with the hospital staff.

Beth was hospitalized over the weekend in Hawaii and was placed into a medically-induced coma after it became very difficult for medical staffers to treat her, TMZ reported.

The 51-year-old was reportedly not reacting well after arriving at the emergency room of the hospital and even attempted to remove lines which were supplying food and medication to her.

Beth, who has struggled with throat cancer for years, was in severe pain after she suddenly became ill.

The medical staff placed her under mild sedation as she was admitted to the ICU at the Queen's Medical Center on Saturday.

However, she continued to be agitated and was eventually put in a medically-induced coma, according to the outlet.

The reality star has now been in a coma for at least two full days.

Duane has reportedly been at her bedside along with family members. He took to Twitter over the weekend, and pleaded with his fans to "please say your prayers for Beth right now."

Duane and his family, also released a statement, "humbly asking everyone to please pray for Beth."

The 51-year-old had undergone successful throat cancer surgery in 2017.

However, the cancer returned last year and doctors removed a tumor from her throat after an emergency surgery in November.

Their family attorney, Andrew Brettler, at the time had said that the surgery was "serious: and the family was staying strong".

"But she has excellent doctors who are evaluating her treatment options," he assured their friends and fans.

The Chapmans became popular with their hit reality show based around the family bail bond business based in Honolulu, the show provided viewers a glimpse of the world of bounty hunting.
