A former Playboy Playmate who was featured on “The Girls Next Door” was arrested on Friday night, June 21, in Louisiana for drug possession in the south, mainly meth. However, she was later let go after arrest reports indicated that no drugs were found on her specifically.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources reveal, Valerie Mason was taken by the cops on Friday night in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. She was then transferred to the local jail and charged for possession of an administered dangerous substance (a schedule II drug) which is a felony.
TMZ revealed that they were told cops found meth when they arrested Mason. She was released on Saturday on a $3,000 bond.
Post her release, TMZ reported that they obtained the arrest reports for the former Playboy Playmate and it looks like that there were no drugs found on Mason. According to the report, the cops made a traffic stop for a car that had a broken taillight. Mason was riding shotgun in that car and when the person driving didn't have any ID on him, he was searched and police revealed they found drug paraphernalia in his pocket usually associated with meth.
After they found the drug on the driver, the officers asked Mason and the guy in the back seat to step out as well. After investigating further the cops reveal they found 2 grams of suspects methamphetamine in a container by the passenger door panel. Cops state they also found a hypodermic needle cap in the back seat.
Police reveal all three people including Mason denied ownership of the drugs. Mason was a Playmate of the month back in September 2008. Mason's centerfold debut was recorded in the E! series 'The Girls Next Door' as she moved into the Playboy mansion along with Holly Madison and other Playboy Playmates.
Mason was featured in five episodes between 2008 and 2009. According to Playboy, Mason does not come from a modeling background. She submitted pictures of herself on a whim and got hired by Holly herself who then invited her to do a test shoot.
