It seems like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce was a lot more bitter and nasty than people realized and it is reported that Angelina told her 15-year-old son Pax that his father Brad Pitt "never wanted to adopt him."
According to US Weekly, a source shared that Angelina allegedly told these things to her son during the couple's nasty divorce. It is reported that Angelina also told Pax that Brad "was angry" that she had gone ahead with the adoption. The source claimed, "It's harmed his and Brad's relationship, though Brad denied having said that specifically." The source added that Brad rather was more concerned about adopting a 3-year-old who didn't speak English.
It was a rather trying time for the couple as the argument took place less than a year after they welcomed daughter Shiloh. At the time, Angelina allegedly told Brad, "Pax needs me more than Shiloh. They almost ended the relationship, but Brad stayed." It was revealed only last month, that the couple had managed to reach a custody agreement about their children- 17-year-old Maddox, 15-year-old Pax, 13-year-old Zahara, 12-year-old Shiloh, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Though Angelina had initially wanted full custody, she decided to settle and share physical as well as legal custody in order to prevent their children from being dragged into the messy battle. The insider shared that the matter has been settled for the time being though the couple's split has definitely taken a toll on Brad's relationship with his children. It is claimed that his relationship with his eldest child Maddox was already very strained but now the "the actor has accepted that he'll likely never be able to repair their relationship."
The source added, "He's always been headstrong and protective of his mother." The insider further claimed that Shiloh had "seemed the most eager and willing [of the four eldest] to work on things with Brad." Zahara reportedly now has an "improved" relationship with her father. The youngest children, Vivienne and Knox "have been sheltered from a lot of the issues."
Another insider shared that even though Brad made very big mistakes "addressing his anger and psychological issues", a social worker felt "he had trouble accepting personal responsibility and often blames others for his actions." Angelina, on the other hand, was called out for "indulging the kids all the time and creating an unstable living environment." The pair confirmed that they were in a relationship in 2006. They got married in the year 2014 but ended up splitting up in the year 2016.
