Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to be back on the big screen as the T-800 model in Terminator 6!
Speaking to TheArnoldFans at the 30th Anniversary celebration of the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio, Schwarzenegger said that the filming of the movie, which had been delayed, will start in June and go on through October.
The reason for the delay being that Arnie is going to be a part of the cast!
"We are starting to shoot Terminator 6 in June to the middle of October, so I am in that,” the actor said.
It looks like he's going to be reprising his role as T-800 in Terminator 6 and he's excited about it. Arnie is also going to be rejoining James Cameron on the project.
"I am looking forward to coming back as the T-800 model. It's gonna be great with Tim Miller as the director and Jim Cameron is kind of supervising the whole thing.”
Not only is the original T-800 back, but so is Sarah Connor. Linda Hamilton is also joining Arnie for 'Terminator 6'. Last year, James Cameron had announced that he would bring on Hamilton in a heartbeat.
Cameron had made the announcement last year, saying "As meaningful as she was to gender and action stars everywhere back then, it’s going to make a huge statement to have that seasoned warrior that she’s become return."
"There are 50-year-old, 60-year-old guys out there killing bad guys,” he continued, “but there isn’t an example of that for women.”
Cameron is pairing up with 'Deadpool' director Tim Miller for the upcoming project.
The yet-to-be-titled Terminator movie is slotted for a 2019 release date.
