Bette Midler has once again sparked outrage after she penned down a risque poem about President Trump and posted it on Twitter.

The actress, who has been a fervent anti-Trump campaigner, shared her literary work with her 1.7m followers on Twitter causing outrage among Trump supporters and admiration from critics of the Trump administration, Independent reports.

Her poem elicited countless responses for the "juvenile" poem, according to the outlet.

Midler's hate for Trump's government is evident from her constant tweets about the president's allegedly fraudulent followers and unabashed political tactics.

In her Twitter bio, she has only written "In Mourning", while her background image shows the words "The United States of America" on a black backdrop.

That said, this is not the first time Midler and Trump have exchanged blows on social media, with the latter branding her a "washed up psycho" after she claimed he was apparently lying about the welcome he received during his UK state visit.

Furthermore, Midler has previously been criticized for body-shaming Melania Trump when she shared a raunchy photo of the First Lady from her modeling days with the hashtag #FLOTITS.

While Midler claims to be a feminist, she recently caught flak for claiming the word "woman" was somehow the "N-Word" for the world.

In July this year, Middler caught another round of backlash following a distasteful tweet about African American Trump supporters, with her fellow Hollywood celebrities also calling her stunt racist. In the controversial tweet, the actress implied that African American attendees of Trump's 2020 re-election rally were paid by his campaign to be there. “Look, there are African American men in this shot! How much did he pay them to be ‘blackground'?” Midler tweeted alongside an image from Trump rally.

In yet another poem, Midler fantasized about the president and his family being hanged "good and high."

“Trump Trump Trump Bob Mueller’s marching, Trump Trump Trump And here is why Trump Trump Trump He’s gonna hang you Hang the fam’ly GOOD AND HIGH!” she tweeted.

While she desperately tried to defend the tweet, she eventually had to delete it altogether and apologize to her followers. “I am an ally and stand with you; always have. And I apologize," she responded.

Midler, who continues to attack the Trumps without consequences, is best known for her role in children’s Halloween film 'Hocus Pocus'.

The 73-year-old actress began her professional career with a number of off-Broadway shows.
