The 'America's Got Talent' quarterfinal results show just aired on the NBC network, as we reconvened to see which of the 11 acts who performed last night managed to go through into the semifinals. As host Terry Crews reminded us, the talent competition was on a mission to find the next global star, this was definitely going to get intense. Out of the pool of 11 quarterfinalists, only the top 5 would advance to the next round, as determined by the votes of the watching American public, with the final vote remaining in the hands of the jury panel.

This is the list of the talented acts who were vying for a spot on Tuesday night:

Kelvin Dukes — Singer
Alexis Brownley — Dog Tricks Act
Bas Salsa — Salsa Duo
Bonavega — Singer
Daneliya Tuleshova — Singer
Jonathan Goodwin — Daredevil
Kameron Ross — Singer
Spyros Brothers — Diabolo Duo
The Shape — Dance Group
Vincent Marcus — Impressionist
Voices of our City Choir — Choir

The first act to go through outright was the Voices of our City choir, who had gained the golden buzzer from Terry Crews during their audition. Stand-in judge Kenan Thompson, who was substituting for recuperating Simon Cowell, declared that their act pierced their soul and that his daughter had kept listening to their song 'Sound of the Sidewalk' for weeks on end. The choir eventually went through at the expense of Bonavega and Kameron Ross.

Next up, we were treated to a perfectly synchronized performance by masked dance crew Jabbawockeez, who were actually the inaugural champions in the very first season of AGT. The five-member crew was slick and polished, looking like they had just gotten off the set of the 'Smooth Criminal' video in their dapper suits and white masks.

Later on, another AGT champion ventriloquist Darci Lynne also showed up to blow our minds with her jaw-dropping talent on Justin Beiber's 'Baby'. The talented winner of AGT Season 12 showed off her tongue-in-cheek humor and amazing singing skills through the clever manipulation of her one-eyed dummy, Ivan from Australia. You can check out her performance here.

The next act to go through was Bad Salsa, and this was pretty much expected, since the hardworking dance duo from India are one of the best performers from Tuesday night. They went through to the semifinals at the expense of the impressionist Vincent Marcus. An ecstatic Heidi Klum told the emotional dancers to keep rehearsing and that she expected to see many more great performances from them. The next act to go through was the talented 14-year-old Daneliya Tuleshova, who triumphed over the eliminated dance crew The Shape and singer Kelvin Dukes. A jubilant Sofia Vergara, who had previously declared Daneliya as her favorite performer, told her she was flawless and begged her not to change a single thing about herself.

Now that the top 3 semifinal slots had been determined, it was down to the last two. As Terry Crews explained at the start of the episode, the top 3 acts who garnered the most votes would go straight through, while the next tier of three contestants (spots 4, 5, and 6) would be grouped in the Dunkin Save slot. This meant that America had one last shot to vote for their favorite act until the episode ended, and the judges were also granted one save. As it turned out, the act who got saved by the American public was the Spyros Brothers, who defeated Alexis Brownley and Jonathan Goodwin in the Dunkin Save.

Then it was up to the judges for the final save of the night, but they were tied in their estimation — Kenan and Howie voted for Alexis while Heidi and Sofia voted for Jonathan. So the final semifinal berth was eventually decided by which act got the most viewer votes, and that turned out to be Jonathan Goodwin.

The daredevil escapologist had made his greatest escape yet! Make sure you tune in next week for another exciting quarterfinal round, as another batch of contestants battle it out for a place in the semifinals. See you next Tuesday night at 8 pm ET on the NBC network!
