'American Ninja Warrior': Third time's a charm for weatherman Joe Moravsky as he aces mega wall and power tower

For the past two seasons, Joe has been aiming to climb the mega wall but each time he missed the mark by a few inches. But, this year, he seemed confident and had days of practice behind him.

Meteorologist Joe Moravsky aced the obstacle course in this week's episode of 'American Ninja Warrior.' He was sure of his goal and ready to beat the odds to reach there. For the past two seasons, Joe has been aiming to climb the mega wall but each time he missed the mark by a few inches. But, this year, he seemed confident and had days of practice behind him. 

During his confessional, Joe admitted that not being able to make it to the top of the mega wall has been gnawing at him and therefore, he trained harder so that this time despite the pressure and nervousness he was to able to make it. His love and passion for the sport helped him achieve the goal this time. In addition to creating history, he also added $10,000 to his bank account. 

Meanwhile, fans cannot stop praising Joe's effort. "Joe Moravsky just delivered a storm on the Ninja course by conquering the Mega Wall and going onto the Power Tower! You can never underestimate the weatherman! #AmericanNinjaWarrior," a fan commented, while another shared: "The mega wall and power tower. Nice run, Joe! #AmericanNinjaWarrior."



 



 

"High hopes for Joe this season, I've wanted him to win since like season 7," a fan wrote on the show's official Facebook page, while another posted: "Great job Joe! This is your year!"

Clearly, fans are rooting for him to win this season. It's Joe's eighth season this time. 

In other news, the top 12 athletes advancing to the next round are: Michael Torres, Joe, Lucas Reale, Kid Owhadi, Amir Malik, David Wright, Lance Pekus, Kevin Bull, Alex Nye, Brian Kretsch, Alex Carson, and Verdale Benson. Since Joe won the power tower, members from his group, Jeshuah Lewis and Will Schlageter, who fell out of the competition earlier on, will be moving on to the next round as well. Mady Howard, Tiana Webberley, and Meagan Martin were the three women participants who were selected to compete ahead.
