While fans are excited to see Jovin in the Top 10, most are shocked as they didn't predict it
Jovin Webb is the third contestant to snatch a spot in the Top 10 and fans are shocked and are saying that he wasn't on their list at all.
'American Idol' Season 18 continued on Sunday night as the series revealed the contestants who advanced to the Top 10 after America's votes. Last week we saw Katy Perry dress up like a giant hand sanitizer, and this week when the episode began, she was dressed as a giant toilet paper roll, before changing into her own attire. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the series is airing from the comfort of their own homes to keep the show running.
The contestants perform from the comfort of their own homes, while judges Katy, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie deliver their critics alongside in house mentor Bobby Bones and host Ryan Seacrest. Last week, we saw the Top 20 contestants perform for America's vote, and tonight the series revealed which of the 10 contestants made it through.
The first contestant who headed over to the Top 10 was Louis Knight, followed by Julia Gargano. The third contestant to advance was Jovin Webb. For his Top 10 performance, Jovin sang his rendition of 'Voodoo' by Allen Stone. His voice sounded fabulous and it had the groove. His performance sounded effortless too. Post his performance, Luke said, "You did not hit one bad note."
