Erika Perry aka ET from 'American Idol' did not make it past the genre challenge round during the recently concluded Hollywood week. Ever since she first appeared on 'Idol' auditions, it was clear that the Orange County native knew how to grab eyeballs and that's exactly what she did. She's no longer on the show but she's made it to the news once again after shocking details of her high-flying sex-working past surfaced.
In 2019, Erika and her two friends appeared on the No Jumper podcast accompanied by two of her friends and candidly spoke about how they all made money while working the pole. “We would be making money at the strip club and she wouldn’t, so we would pimp her out and she would make $1,000 every time she f**ked someone,” her friends said pointing out to her.

Unshaken by the revelation her friends made, Erika was quick to chime in and said, "I f**ked this guy in Laguna Beach. It was like $1,000 and afterwards I was like ‘yo I can’t believe how much money I made from f**king someone'."
She added, "I found all of these rich a** guys on Seeking Arrangements. Like directors and [record label owners]…. And they would pay me thousands of dollars. He would get us like hotel rooms at the Roosevelt and we would just like have a party afterwards like after we would do the deed.”
Erika is no longer working as a sex-worker and there's a disturbing story behind it after which she decided to seek an alternate livelihood. “I had a main sugar daddy but he got shot in April 2017 so ever since that happened I stopped doing activity that was illegal,” Erika added.
She confirmed that he was she was with her sugar daddy when he was shot dead and that's what led her to quit the "sex scene". Also dishing on her outspoken stint on the podcast, Erika revealed that much of her frankness was due to the alcohol in her system. She admitted that the podcast ended in "information being left out" or "brushed over" because she was "extremely intoxicated" while they recorded it.
Erika Perry says she has "grown a lot from the behavior that was exhibited in that video," and that she has big plans for her future in entertainment. "I’ve been in school, working on my music and now I’m launching an Only Fans to raise money to have my own reality show with my friends." She also hinted that it will be a "Jersey Shore type" show.

The judges were having none of her antics and at one point her overtly enhanced accent annoyed Katy Perry who asked Erika to stop singing.
A little critique later, Erika was given a second chance and she finally made it out with a golden ticket in hand. She was eliminated in the first round in Hollywood week and she couldn't fathom the reality of the situation and asked the judges if they were "sure" of their decision. “Are you sure? Like I’m not even acting right now, seriously but are you sure?” Erika urged.
Once outside the theater, Erika began yelling in front of the cameras saying, “I’m trying to not have an actual b***h fit because I can get angry and sassy real quick." She added, “Who’s in charge of this? I’d like to speak to the manager. I’ve been nice for years but I’m tired of being this nice college girl. No! I am done being nice!”
"I’m a lunatic! Why do you think my ex dumped me? I’m a lunatic I will go f**king psycho!” she said while continuing her rant. Katy Perry tweeted her video with the caption, "Cool it, Karen," along with a waving hand emoji.
