It is not every day that you see fans going haywire after a trailer launch if it is not a big show but when it is a cult classic that is being remade, there ought to be some sort of reaction that will surface on all the social media platforms. 'American Gigolo' an 80s classic movie is revamped by Showtime and is going to be presented to the viewers very soon. The original movie, 'American Gigolo' had the infamous Richard Gere as Julian Kaye, and it did stir a lot of conjectures as Gere was a leading man, and it was one of the first mainstream Hollywood films to include frontal male nudity from its main star.

The premise of the TV series is Julian Kaye, (Jon Bernthal) 15 years after being arrested for murder and struggling to find his footing in the modern-day Los Angeles sex industry, seeks the truth about the frame that sent him to prison all those years ago and also hoping to reconnect with his one true love, Michelle.

'American Gigolo' is the upcoming drama television series developed by David Hollander, based on the 1980 film of the same name written and directed by Paul Schrader. The series stars Jon Bernthal as Julian Kaye, the main protagonist of the original film, alongside Gretchen Mol, Rosie O'Donnell, Lizzie Brochere, Gabriel LaBelle, and Leland Orser. The drama series also had some ongoing drama on sets during the production period when on April 27, 2022, it was reported that production have been shut down for four days due to Hollander's dismissal and an actor being unavailable at the moment, and on May 12, 2022, it was announced that production had been shut down again for at least two weeks as David Bar Katz exited the series but now the series came through and has launched the trailer where Bernthal enticing looks captivated a lot of fans.

Not long after the release of the TV series trailer fans made it their sole duty to express their thoughts about the looks of the show from the trailer while some were 'thirsting' over Jon Bernthal, others are really psyched about the plot and how the series turns out.
