Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's former interior decorator claimed in her court declaration that despite the 'Aquaman' actress not receiving any property or material assets in her divorce settlement, except for the $7 million that Depp paid her, she took some of the furniture from Depp's penthouse when she was preparing to move out.

Laura Divenere, who worked for the couple from July 2014 to 2016, said in her declaration submitted to the circuit court of Fairfax County, Virginia, that Heard had specifically marked a number of furniture in one of the actor's LA penthouses as being hers at the time she was vacating the place.

"As part of my job, I helped Mr. Depp acquire valuable furniture and decorative fixtures for his Penthouse 3. When Ms. Heard was preparing to move out of the penthouse, I witnessed pink post-it notes covering much of this furniture that I had acquired for Mr. Depp, which was paid for by Mr. Depp, stating that this furniture was Amber's property," Diveniere said in the declaration.

Since she was unaware of the details of the divorce settlement between the former spouses, she said she did not suspect at the time that something illegal could be taking place. "Amber did take the furniture. I assumed at the time that this furniture was part of some divorce settlement between the parties," she added.

However, according to BBC, the only things apart from the agreed sum of money that Heard received as part of the settlement were the possession of their dogs, Pistol and Boo, and a horse called Arrow.

Depp, on the other hand, retained sole possession of real estate assets, including properties in LA, Paris and his private island in the Bahamas. Furthermore, it was agreed that he would keep more than 40 vehicles and vessels, including vintage cars and motorcycle collection.

Both of them signed non-disclosure agreements, which prevented them from discussing their relationship publicly. Heard agreed to withdraw the restraining order she had filed against Depp, which included domestic abuse allegations.

Nevertheless, a copy of an "extortion" letter sent from Heard to Depp during their divorce was uploaded on Twitter last month, which went viral. According to that letter, Heard initially demanded three penthouses, a Range Rover vehicle and ordered Depp to continue to pay the mortgage and utility bills associated with those properties.
