AMAs 2020: Pop duo Dan and Shay perform ‘I should go to bed’, fans say 'together they are a whole mood'
Winner of the AMAs 2020 best song country ‘10000 hours’ with Justin Beiber, Dan and Shay performed ‘I should go to bed’ at the 48th American Music Awards. AMA’s celebration of music is grand this year with a star-studded lineup of performers including Jennifer Lopez, Shawn Mendes, Megan Thee Stallion and Billie Eilish, BTS, Lewis Capaldi, Dua Lipa, and more.
Dan and Shay, real name, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, the American pop duo released the song ‘I should go to bed’ in July 2020 as part of their upcoming album. Smyers also produced the song and played every instrument on it from his own house. Fans believe that every time Dana and Shay perform, they are just getting better while some say that AMAs 2020 is all about the pop duo’s heartfelt performance.

AMAs 2020 is being hosted by Taraji P Henson at the Microsoft theatre of Los Angeles. This year, the award show is recognizing diversity in music as they included more categories and find new talents around the country and worldwide.
Earlier at the AMAs 2020, the duo won Favorite Country Song where the nominations included Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber's '10,000 Hours', Maren Morris' 'The Bones' and 'Nobody but You' by Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. The award was presented by 'Dancing with the Stars' judge Derek Hough and fans celebrated the win for the duo as it only marks the long road of achievements for the duo.
