'All American' Season 2: Spencer James and Olivia Baker should be 'endgame' and fans just won't let go
'All American' has seen quite a few relationship's twists and turns. While Spencer James broke up with his girlfriend Layla Keating, he was seen catching a moment with his ex Kia. Meanwhile, Olivia Baker is officially dating Asher Adams now.
In Episode 10, Olivia and Asher had a tiff when the latter decided to give more priority to football instead of the cotillion. That's when Spencer stepped in to escort Olivia and even took a bullet for her. "This is literally the relationship we’ve been needing since the beginning of the show, but the writers wanna skip around it," one fan posted on Twitter.
With their relationship going around in circles, fans are clear they want to see the couple as the 'endgame'. Another viewer wrote, "Spencer and Olivia belong together. The writers have proven that time and time again. their relationship is built to last."
Many have expressed their disappointment about the two not getting into a relationship. "Spencer and Olivia make sooo much sense but apparently the writers probably thought it was cliché," one tweet read. Another said, "Olivia has the best chemistry with Spencer on this show, hopefully, we get to see more of this chemistry and not with Asher!"
Towards the end of Episode 11, after Spencer was out of danger following his surgery, the two lay side-by-side when Olivia thanked him for the grand gesture and he said, "Anytime." It was also a moment to show Spencer's talk on her podcast 'Liv The Truth'. Fans seem to have found the scene heartwarming and can't stop talking about it. "Spencer’s interview on Olivia’s podcast was everything," one fan wrote and another said, "I still want Olivia and Spencer together."
The new episode of 'All American' will air next Monday, February 10 on The CW and it may hint more at whether or not the two are destined to last together.
