'All American' Season 2 Episode 7: Fans left heartbroken after they watch Corey die, claim the show killed him off too quickly
The latest episode of 'All American' titled 'Coming Home' has left fans bawling. Corey (Chad Coleman) was just about to return home with his sons, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Dillon (Jalyn Hall), and it seemed to be a happy ending. Except...Corey goes into his house to collect Spencer's jacket and doesn't return. Spencer then finds his father lifeless in the chair and he releases an anguished scream. The episode ends there, and fans are heartbroken. In the previous episode, it was revealed that Corey was dying from cancer.
One fan wrote, "Ok I just went through half a box of tissues throughout that whole episode of #AllAmerican. WHY COREY WHY? My heart broke once I seen him in that chair with the jersey.."
Another tweeted that Corey had been killed off too quickly. "Poor Spencer James. I HATE when shows do this, kill off interesting people early. It’s SO lame. Poor Corey had to spend his whole life living in corny ass Billy’s shadow. They killed him off too quickly, Just like they did William on #ThisIsUs."
One fan wrote, "Didn’t live tweet because I was tending to my momma but I definitely watched tonight’s episode of #AllAmerican..... and I’m S U I N G. WHYYYYYY WOULD Y’ALL KILL COREY OFF AND THEY JUST— I can’t with these shows. Yesterday it was #TheWalkingDead, now it's ya'll too?"
Others are still coming to terms with his death, "Dang Corey! You going to die like that?", wrote one fan. Another wondered why it had to be Spencer to find Corey. "Why was Spencer the one that had to find Corey like that.Spencer gone need a A lot of therapy all this."
A fan angrily tweeted, "Corey DID NOT NEED TO DIEEEE I hate it here."
Another wrote, "I knew something was gonna happen to Corey but I didn't want it to be true."
