'All American' Season 2 Episode 16: Fans want Spencer and Olivia to have a story, call them 'endgame'
It was an emotional and bittersweet finale. The second season of 'All American' came to an end with a rather worrying cliffhanger, as Spencer's (Daniel Ezra) shoulder injury saw a relapse. Moreover, Tyrone's sister is out to extract her pound of flesh from Coop, so it's not really certain whether Coop will make it for her tour or not.
Yet, the pleasant part of the episode was watching Spencer's affection and concern for Olivia (Samantha Logan). Olivia and Asher (Cody Christian) have been going through a rough patch. Though Asher asked Olivia to come with him for a summer trip with his mom, she politely refused saying that he needed to work on his relationship with her. Alone at home later, Olivia almost has a relapse, as she takes a swig of vodka.
Luckily, Spencer comes in time and reminds her that he's always there for her. Indeed, there's a story waiting to happen between the two of them, and the writers are probably waiting for the right time.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the two of them to get together. One fan tweeted, "Asher’s gonna leave for the summer & come back to Olivia & Spencer startin’ something. I just know it." Another wrote, "Spencer and Olivia just need to make it official."
"When they gone stop fucking around and finally put Spencer and Olivia together, " a fan tweeted. "Asher and Leila both gone with their parents. I’m here for a little cheating this summer on the way to our Spencer and Olivia endgame," wrote another fan. A fan tweeted, "Spencer and Olivia spending the summer together and being each other’s rock because they basically only have each other."
Another viewer had written, "I really played myself for thinking for one split second that Olivia and Spencer were going to have a happy ending..."
Will Olivia and Spencer finally get together in Season 3? We cannot wait to find out.
'All American' will return for the third season in October 2020.
