Relationship with Jay Alvarrez
Alexis and Jay Alvarrez, the two social media personalities started dating in 2014 and their relationship lasted till 2016. When Jay started to date Alexis, he wasn't as well known as Alexis and was still an up and coming model. But, the fallout between the two was ugly. Talking about the breakup, Alexis, speaking to Cosmopolitan, said, "When people in your life have good intentions and then suddenly don’t have good intentions, and you get your heart broken, you have to learn and reflect off of that and ask yourself, 'Where did I go wrong?' Like, 'How did I let myself get treated like that?'…I got my heart broken and I was like, 'OK, wow, I need to just step back and take my power back.' So for the last six months, I've had to really do a lot of reflecting and a lot of soul-searching."
After the breakup, Alexis blocked Jay on social media accounts and went on a tweeting spree saying, "that time you confused a lesson for a soulmate," followed by, "It's crazy how wrong you can be about someone." When asked who ended the relationship, she said, "Pushed me to my limits so I broke it so he wouldn’t get blamed for ending it," and later added, "Love makes you blind though I can't deny I felt something was wrong." When a follower asked if it was all fake, Alexis said that in the beginning, the relationship was real, but "fame changes people."
