Al Roker adds spooky touch to 'Today' with Halloween weather report
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today's beloved meteorologist, Al Roker, didn't shy away from making a spooky change to the usual weather segment for Halloween as the rest of the NBC family had major celebrations during Tuesday's broadcast.
Moreover, Roker took to his Instagram to share his stylist dressed as a fashionable look-a-like meteorologist. In contrast, he embraced the get-up of the musical icon Lionel Richie from the 'Dancing on the Ceiling' music video.

Al Roker adds a touch of spookiness to 'Today' shows weather forecast
On Halloween, Al Roker’s weather segment underwent a spooky change as the typical map of the country was swapped for a more festive one.
Along with a befitting dark color theme, the map was graced with jack-o'-lanterns, spiders, and spooky fonts, along with a title banner that read "Trick-or-Treat Forecast."
He began the segment by saying, "It's going to be chilly in Mt Mystery, Washington tomorrow night. Howling winds will be present around the Great Lakes."
"Transylvania, Louisiana, 50 degrees," playfully remarked Roker in a Dracula accent.
He continued to provide weather updates for various locations while highlighting entertaining, horror-themed spots across the country.
Craig Melvin said, "How about a shout-out to your graphics department?" praising the creative imagery behind Roker’s segment. The meteorologist agreed, acknowledging the team's fantastic work in bringing it to life.
Al Roker cherishes being a grandfather
Al Roker took to Instagram to share his experiences of being a grandfather as he recently had the opportunity to babysit his granddaughter, Sky Clara.
The 'Today' meteorologist shared photos from their bonding time, including adorable clicks of Sky Clara in her baby carrier and of her cuddling with Roker. There were also pictures of Sky Clara in her stroller as the weatherman accompanied her during a park stroll.

In a separate post, Roker featured his kitchen countertop, where a Chianti Classico towel was placed along with freshly cleaned baby bottles.
He captioned the post, "It’s been a while since I had this setup going on in the kitchen. Good to know I can still do this. Like riding a bike. But, I get to give the bike back to the owners."
