With the newest season of ‘American Horror Story’ less than a month away, fans are anxious to hear details about the eighth season of the horror anthology series titled “Apocalypse”.  As this is going to be the series' first official “cross-over” season, combining the narratives and characters of “Murder House” (season one) and “Coven” (season two), fans are thrilled and curious to see how creator Ryan Murphy pulls this one off.

Actor Cheyenne Jackson, has been instrumental in the franchise, appearing in “Hotel”, “Roanoke,” “Cult” and now the eighth season “Apocalypse”. Meaww ran into Jackson on the red carpet for the Angel Awards in Hollywood, where he performed with Megan Hilty honoring his good friend Debra Messing, who received the Founder’s Award that evening.

We of course had to ask about the newest season of ‘American Horror Story,’ but in typical 'AHS' fashion, his lips were sealed. However, he did give us a few things to look forward to in the upcoming season which will premiere on September 12th.

“I can tell you what I can usually tell people about the show, absolutely nothing. But what I can say is, in my opinion, this season is a love letter to the fans of ‘American Horror Story’. I have been working 15 hour days this week, and to see all of these people back to some of their core characters is great. Joan Collins is a fantastic addition to the cast and we are just having so much fun getting everyone back together.”

One piece of that love letter will certainly be the return of real-life legend Stevie Nicks, who was a part of “Coven”.  In rare fashion, Murphy even posted an Instagram photo of Nicks with two of the stars of “Coven” Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe with the caption, “The Return.  Cordelia, Stevie and Misty casting a bewitching spell.”
